Kerala wins inaugural champions of National Beach Soccer Championships
In the final of the National Beach Soccer Championships at Dumas Beach in Surat, Kerala put on a display and defeated Punjab 13-4 to win the championship, adding another trophy to their crowded cabinet of national football honours. Delhi defeated Uttarakhand 3-1 in the earlier-day contest for third place.

India thrash Bhutan by 12-0 in SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship
In their debut game in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under 20 Women`s Championship, India defeated Bhutan by a score of 12 to 0 on Friday in Dhaka. The other teams competing in the competition are Bangladesh, the hosts, and Nepal.
All the matches will be played at the Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Dhaka. After a four-team round robin, the top two teams will play the final on 9th of February. India will face Bangladesh on 5th of February and Nepal on the 7th.
